Tonight!! July 17 – Mississippi Heat is excited to be back at the House of Blues Backporch stage.   9PM start time with Inetta Visor and Daneshia Hamilton on vocals with special guest Vaan Shaw on guitar and vocals! We look forward to seeing new and old friends at this legendary blues venue.

On July 24, Mississippi Heat will be bringing the blues to the Fargo Blues Festival in North Dakota.  Inetta Visor will be handling lead vocals with special guest Vaan Shaw on guitar and vocals. We will be performing old songs from the band’s 30-year catalog along with songs from the new album, Don’t Look Back.  This is a great festival and we look forward to being back!!

Finally, thank you to everyone who voted for us in the Living Blues Reader’s Poll: Blues Band of the Year.  Congratulations to Billy Branch & the Sons of the Blues for winning the award!

Upcoming Shows: Pierre Lacocque plays Mississippi Heat songs with La Rambla Blues Band at Mineral de Pozos in Guanajuato, Mexico on June 13.  Pierre is excited to be back in Mexico to perform with friends.

On June 17, Mississippi Heat will be performing with Sheryl Youngblood at MUSIC ON THE ROCK (The Burpee Museum of Natural History) in Rockford, IL. This will be an outdoor show on the banks of the Rock River. Relax and enjoy food and drink with friends and family.

Mississippi Heat will be back June 25 at Kingston Mines with Inetta Visor and Daneshia Hamilton.  Kingston Mines is like a second home to the band; we look forward to performing at this world-famous club.

“Don’t Look Back”, Mississippi’s Heat most recent release, has been out for 9 months.  It continues to get acclaim and praise from critics and is a fan favorite.  Pierre feels that the release is a standout in the band’s catalog. “Don’t Look Back” is generating international festival and club appearances which we will be announcing soon.
